We get it, everyone loves a cheeky discount. But here at Send Me a Christmas Tree we’re all about fairness, so – and here’s the bad news – you’re probably not going to find a working coupon code online.
We used to use coupon codes from time to time for various reasons, but the thing is, if you give out too many codes, you eventually need to put the price up a little bit for everyone else in order to cover the discounts. Well now, that’s not really fair, is it?
Nowadays, we think it makes sense that everyone pays the same price for the same product. Christmas trees don’t come cheap, we know, but we think our pricing is fair and we make sure to review it regularly. And, don’t forget, unlike some of our competitors delivery is free to most UK addresses when you buy a tree.
Fair question, smarty-pants. In our first few years selling trees online (pre-2015), we offered discount codes to returning customers as a thanks for helping us to get the business off the ground. Some of these wonderful folk continue to order every year, and we’d be pretty mean-spirited to take away their loyalty bonus. We also occasionally partner with other companies to offer deals to their existing customers.
Nice try! Like we said, we don’t really do that sort of thing, but that’s not to say we’ll never run special offers, or promote opportunities to get a good deal. Top tip: if you order a bit earlier in the year, you can often get a better deal before we review pricing for the new season.

Most of the websites that just list coupons & promo codes can be pretty much disregarded – the codes seem to either be ancient or totally made up.
If you’re looking for a cheaper option and you’re happy to wait until the middle of December, a Norway Spruce is a great choice, and the most affordable tree we offer. Another tip is not to be tempted to go huge, you’ll save some money by going a foot or two smaller and a little tree can be just as lovely as a monster (and quicker to decorate, win-win!).
